Hi, I’m Emil, a 22 year old medical student based in Copenhagen with a lifelong passion for shoes, and especially loafers.
But there was always one problem: every pair I bought looked great, but rarely felt the same way. Breaking in a new pair was often a painful process. Blisters, sore feet, and days of discomfort were almost expected.
I always felt there had to be a better way, so I decided to create it myself.
I started Carciami with a simple idea: to make loafers that look sharp, feel exceptional, and are comfortable from the very first wear. I’ve always believed that you shouldn’t have to choose between style and comfort, and that a well designed shoe should be something you genuinely want to wear every day.
Our loafers are thoughtfully designed in Copenhagen and handmade in Portugal by skilled artisans, using carefully selected materials and considered construction. Every detail is designed with both aesthetics and comfort in mind, from the timeless silhouettes to the soft, cushioned interior.
